Uzbekistan Business Visa Requirements

Note: Uzbekistan Visa Exemption

The following travelers do not need a visa to Uzbekistan:

  • U.S. Citizens who are over 55 years old, and
  • Minor travelers under 16 years old, if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian holding a valid visa.
Uzbekistan Visa Application

Complete the Uzbekistan visa application online.
Please print the finalized PDF application and sign it with a blue or black ink (electronic signature will not be accepted).
Important: Validity of your visa relies on the dates of travel entered on the online visa application. If you're traveling outside of these dates, you'll have to re-apply and pay for the visa all over again.
*If traveling privately (visiting someone), you will need to provide that person's name, address, and phone number.
*If traveling independently (tourist), you will need to provide hotel name, address, and phone number.

Business Letter From Employer

An original business letter from your U.S. employer is required (click here for sample).
This letter should clarify the trip's objectives, offer financial assurance, outline the requested travel dates and visa duration, and feature contact details for the visited organization.
This letter must articulate the purpose of the intended activities (i.e. business meetings), printed on the company's official letterhead, and signed by a company representative.

Invitation Letter From Business Host

You need to provide an invitation letter from the host company (scan copy is accepted).
This letter must articulate the purpose of the intended activities (i.e. business meetings), printed on the company's official letterhead, and signed by a company representative.

Original Passport

Your physical passport must maintain validity for a minimum of 6-months beyond your departure date.
Please note that the amendment pages located at the back of your passport are not visa pages and are not acceptable for visa issuance.
If you've run out of visa pages, please renew your passport before applying for a visa.

One (1) Passport Photograph

Please provide one (1) recent passport photograph, captured in the last six months, printed on photo paper.
For your convenience, you'll have the option to upload a digital photo* (additional fee applies).
*Face the camera directly without objects behind you and do not wear eyeglasses, headphones, or earbuds (click for sample).

Note: Former Uzbekistan Citizen

If you were previously a citizen of Uzbekistan, please provide a copy of a letter issued by the Uzbekistan Consulate office confirming your renunciation of Uzbekistan citizenship.

Proof of U.S. Status

Non-U.S. applicants are required to submit a photocopy of their Permanent Resident Card (front and back), a valid U.S. visa, I-94, or I-20.
