Iran Business Visa Requirements

Iran Visa Grant Notice

In order to receive Iran visa stamped inside your passport, you must obtain a Visa Grant Notice through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs directly: https://evisatraveller.mfa.ir/en/request/applyrequest/

A sample of a Visa Grant Notice can be found here.
Please submit a copy of your Visa Grant Notice with your passport to us for visa processing and issuance.

Original Passport

Your physical passport must maintain validity for a minimum of 6-months beyond your departure date.
Please note that the amendment pages located at the back of your passport are not visa pages and are not acceptable for visa issuance.
If you've run out of visa pages, please renew your passport before applying for a visa.

One (1) Passport Photograph

Please provide one (1) recent passport photograph, captured in the last six months, printed on photo paper.
For your convenience, you'll have the option to upload a digital photo* (additional fee applies).
*Face the camera directly without objects behind you and do not wear eyeglasses, headphones, or earbuds (click for sample).

Business Letter From Employer

An original business letter from your U.S. employer is required (click here for sample).
This letter should clarify the trip's objectives, offer financial assurance, outline the requested travel dates and visa duration, and feature contact details for the visited organization.
This letter must articulate the purpose of the intended activities (i.e. business meetings), printed on the company's official letterhead, and signed by a company representative.

Proof of U.S. Status

Non-U.S. applicants are required to submit a photocopy of their Permanent Resident Card (front and back), a valid U.S. visa, I-94, or I-20.
