Belarus Tourist Visa Requirements

Belarus Visa Application

Complete, print, and sign the Belarus visa application.
Please sign the application with a blue or black ink (electronic signature will not be accepted).

Original Passport

Your physical passport must maintain validity for a minimum of 6-months beyond your departure date.
Please note that the amendment pages located at the back of your passport are not visa pages and are not acceptable for visa issuance.
If you've run out of visa pages, please renew your passport before applying for a visa.

One (1) Passport Photograph

Please provide one (1) recent passport photograph, captured in the last six months, printed on photo paper.
For your convenience, you'll have the option to upload a digital photo* (additional fee applies).
*Face the camera directly without objects behind you and do not wear eyeglasses, headphones, or earbuds (click for sample).

Invitation Letter from Belarus

A copy of your invitation letter/tourist voucher/visa support is required.
This document can be issued by a tour company or hotel in Belarus, approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (click here for sample).

Medical Insurance Coverage in Belarus

Belarus Embassy requires proof of medical insurance policy for the duration of your visit.
This document must contain:

  • Insurance policy number
  • Name, address, phone number of your insurance company, as well as your full name printed as policy holder,
  • Insurance territorial coverage should be valid in Belarus or worldwide,
  • Insurance term of validity throughout travel period or temporary residence in Belarus, and
  • Amount of medical coverage no less than 10,000 Euro.
    • Please note that a copy of this document is accepted, however you'll need the original during your stay in Belarus.
    Flight Itinerary

    A copy of an airline confirmation, showing your name as well as entry and exit to the country.
    If traveling via land/sea border, please provide a signed letter of explanation, in addition to the airline confirmation.

    Proof of U.S. Status

    Non-U.S. applicants are required to submit a photocopy of their Permanent Resident Card (front and back), a valid U.S. visa, I-94, or I-20.
