Angola Tourist Visa Requirements

U.S. Citizen: No Visa Required

As of 29 September 2023, passport holders from countries listed below are eligible for tourist visa-free entry for stays of up to 30 days at a time (90 days total per calendar year):

  1. United States Of America
  2. Antigua and Barbuda
  3. Barbados
  4. Belize
  5. Canada
  6. Grenada
  7. Jamaica
  8. Mexico
  9. St Vincent and the Grenadines
  10. Trinidad and Tobago

VACCINATIONS :
Yellow fever is required

CURRENCY RESTRICTIONS FOR ENTRY :
Declare amounts over $200 per day

NOTE : If the purpose of the travel is TOURISM, passport holders shall not conduct business in Angola.

Angola Visa Application

Complete, print, and sign the Angola visa application.
Please sign the application with a blue or black ink (electronic signature will not be accepted).

Original Passport

Your physical passport must maintain validity for a minimum of 6-months beyond your departure date.
Please note that the amendment pages located at the back of your passport are not visa pages and are not acceptable for visa issuance.
If you've run out of visa pages, please renew your passport before applying for a visa.

One (1) Passport Photograph

Please provide one (1) recent passport photograph, captured in the last six months, printed on photo paper.
For your convenience, you'll have the option to upload a digital photo* (additional fee applies).
*Face the camera directly without objects behind you and do not wear eyeglasses, headphones, or earbuds (click for sample).

Cover Letter

Please furnish a letter with your signature indicating the purpose of your journey, travel dates, cities you plan to visit, and your place of accommodation.

Bank Statement

Provide your most recent bank statement, showing sufficient funds for the trip.
You may white-out the sensitive information from the statement.

Hotel Confirmation or Invitation Letter

Please provide either a hotel reservation confirmation or an invitation letter from your host.
If you choose the invitation letter option, please include a copy of your host's passport or national ID.

International Certificate of Vaccination

A Yellow Fever International Vaccination Certificate is necessary, and you have the option to provide either the original booklet or a photocopy of it for submission.

Flight Itinerary

A copy of an airline confirmation, showing your name as well as entry and exit to the country.
If traveling via land/sea border, please provide a signed letter of explanation, in addition to the airline confirmation.

Proof of U.S. Status

Non-U.S. applicants are required to submit a photocopy of their Permanent Resident Card (front and back), a valid U.S. visa, I-94, or I-20.
