Angola Business Visa Requirements

Angola Visa Application

Complete, print, and sign the Angola visa application.
Please sign the application with a blue or black ink (electronic signature will not be accepted).

Original Passport

Your physical passport must maintain validity for a minimum of 6-months beyond your departure date.
Please note that the amendment pages located at the back of your passport are not visa pages and are not acceptable for visa issuance.
If you've run out of visa pages, please renew your passport before applying for a visa.

One (1) Passport Photograph

Please provide one (1) recent passport photograph, captured in the last six months, printed on photo paper.
For your convenience, you'll have the option to upload a digital photo* (additional fee applies).
*Face the camera directly without objects behind you and do not wear eyeglasses, headphones, or earbuds (click for sample).

Invitation Letter From Angola

Provide a notarized invitation letter from host company in Angola, authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and addressed to the Embassy of Angola.
Letter must be accompanied by:

  1. Evidence of the legal establishment of the company, a copy of the business permit, a copy of evidence of payment of current taxes (industrial payment tax for the current year),
  2. A copy of the company's publication page in the Diario da Republica (official gazette of the republic), and
  3. Identification of the person signing the letter (B.I. or passport if the signer is an Angolan citizen, or passport with Angolan visa if signer is a foreigner).
Bank Statement

Provide your most recent bank statement, showing sufficient funds for the trip.
You may white-out the sensitive information from the statement.

Hotel Confirmation

Please submit confirmation of your hotel reservation.
The hotel confirmation should include your name and the duration of your stay.

International Certificate of Vaccination

A Yellow Fever International Vaccination Certificate is necessary, and you have the option to provide either the original booklet or a photocopy of it for submission.

Flight Itinerary

A copy of an airline confirmation, showing your name as well as entry and exit to the country.
If traveling via land/sea border, please provide a signed letter of explanation, in addition to the airline confirmation.

Proof of U.S. Status

Non-U.S. applicants are required to submit a photocopy of their Permanent Resident Card (front and back), a valid U.S. visa, I-94, or I-20.
