How to get a passport?

Great question!
First, you must know when your travel date is, then you can decide whether to expedite or not.
You don’t need to expedite if:
– Your travel date is over 3 months from now
– You have all of the requirements together and confident that there is no issue with your background check (FBI, IRS, and Child Support Agency)
If you don’t need to expedite, you can apply directly through an Acceptance Agent near you by clicking here.

We recommend expediting if:

– Your travel date is within 3 months from now
– You are uncertain about the documents you have for passport issuance
– You are uncertain about the result of your background check (FBI, IRS, and Child Support Agency)
– You were a felon or convicted of a felony and want to know your passport result quickly

What are the requirements to get a US passport for the first time?

The basic requirements are:
– Proof of US citizenship: original birth certificate, naturalization certificate, or previously issued US passport.
– Passport photo 2×2 inches taken within the last 6 months

– Passport fee

What are the passport fees?

Why expedite through a third party expediter?

A third party expediter is authorized to submit your passport request to the Passport Agency via hand delivery. Note: we are not mailing your passport request to the National Passport Agency in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This works to your advantage because the Passport Agency is able to review your documents and submit your background check immediately.
When an issue arises, a representative from the Passport Agency will contact either the applicant or the expediter directly to address the issue, whether by email, mail, or telephone call.
When a request is submitted through the standard non-third-party process, there can be a communication delay in resolving issues, which can significantly postpone your passport issuance and potentially cause you to miss your departure date.

At VisaHero, we fast-track your express passport through the U.S. Passport Agency, ensuring your application is accurate before submission.
Once your passport is ready, we promptly ship it back to you with our expedited courier service.
Our team works quickly to get your passport to you, keeping you informed throughout the process, and making sure you have it well in advance of your scheduled departure.

Our customers consistently rate our service as the best in the industry!
You can always consult with us by emailing info@visahero.com or call (202) 936-6000 if you have any questions.
